ProLogium Unveils Next-Generation Solid-State Battery Innovations at CES

EV Advanced Materials announced on January 8 that ProLogium Technology, a Taiwanese solid-state battery company in which it has invested, participated in CES 2026 and unveiled innovations in next-generation solid-state batteries for electric vehicles, construction machinery, energy storage, and e-cargo bikes alongside global partners.

According to the company, ProLogium has agreed to collaborate with Germany's FEV Group on solid-state battery modules for electric vehicles that can be charged to 60-80% in 4 to 6 minutes and offer a maximum driving range of 1,000 kilometers. The company will also work with Kyushu Electric Power and Nakayama Steel Works of Japan to equip emission-free construction machinery with battery modules.

In addition, ProLogium signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Taiwan's Buima Energy, JMS, and GWA to enter the residential and commercial energy storage markets with ultra-safe, modular designs for electric cargo bikes.

Vincent Yang, founder and CEO of ProLogium, stated, "This collaboration marks an important milestone in expanding solid-state battery applications across various industries, including the construction machinery sector." He emphasized: ▲ contributing to carbon neutrality at industrial sites through zero-emission construction machinery; ▲ achieving more than double the operating time and significantly reduced charging times compared to conventional lithium batteries; ▲ eliminating the risk of thermal runaway with Active Safety Mechanism (ASM); and ▲ building a complete value chain from battery cell to final product to optimize quality and cost. He added that these safe and sustainable energy solutions will accelerate the global energy transition and the future of smart construction.

Meanwhile, in addition to EV Advanced Materials, ProLogium has attracted investments from SoftBank China Venture Capital, Mercedes-Benz of Germany, POSCO Holdings, and CRFM, earning recognition for its specialized technology. In May 2024, the company established its first overseas research and development center in Paris-Saclay, France, to provide tailored technical support for the European market.
