First Meeting with New Group Public Recruitment Crew
"AI Tools Are Copilots... The Key Lies in the Judgments You Make"
Jungsin A, Chairperson of the Kakao Group CA Council and CEO of Kakao, met with new employees and encouraged them to "grow into AI-native talent."
According to Kakao, Chairperson Jung made these remarks on January 7 at the "Conversation with the Chairperson - Fireside Chat" event held at the Kakao AI Campus in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, where she met with new group public recruitment crew members.

Kakao explained that the "AI-native talent" emphasized by Chairperson Jung refers to individuals who treat AI as a colleague, clearly communicate what needs to be done, and actively utilize it. Chairperson Jung stated, "AI tools are now copilots," stressing that "the key is not the tool itself, but what questions you ask and what judgments you make based on the given information and context."
She went on to say, "Kakao Group has continuously improved by identifying inconveniences that users have not even noticed and striving to create better days." She emphasized, "Ultimately, those who discover the root cause before it even becomes a problem and propose better alternatives are the ones who drive change." This means that she hopes new crew members will grow into individuals who redefine problems and design solutions in their respective work areas.
In this context, Chairperson Jung introduced the concept of "unlearning." This means being able to let go of the conviction that "my way is right," and instead, learn anew and continue to grow. She explained, "Continue to deepen your thinking through learning in the humanities, but for technical learning, break through the ceiling and switch faster-this will dramatically accelerate your growth."
At the event, discussions covered not only questions about the company's overall work, but also conversations about career development and leadership.
Meanwhile, Kakao Group is conducting the "2026 Group Public Recruitment One Kakao Onboarding" program for all new group public recruitment members selected this year, from January 5 to January 16. Afterward, onboarding programs tailored to the characteristics of each company and job category will follow sequentially.
