Regional Specialized Content Recognized
Secures Additional 300 Million Won in National Funding Incentives
Chungnam Content Agency announced on January 8 that it received the highest rating for the second consecutive year in the evaluation of the "2025 Regional Specialized Content Development Support Project," organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency. As a result, the agency secured an additional 300 million won in national funding incentives.
This evaluation comprehensively assessed the project performance of 16 regional hub institutions nationwide. The agency was recognized for its virtuous cycle structure of AI-based talent development and job creation, verification of achievements in global markets, and scalability for overseas expansion.
Through the "Chungnam New Content Academy," the agency established a system to discover and train local talent, connecting this with internships and content production.
In addition, the regional specialized content exhibition held at New York's Times Square to mark the 80th anniversary of Liberation was highly regarded as a clear demonstration of the global competitiveness of Chungnam's content.
Based on the incentives secured, the agency plans to further strengthen AI-based professional training this year and to accelerate the advancement of regional specialized content and its entry into overseas markets.
Director Kim Gokmi stated, "It is significant that Chungnam's talent and content have now reached the stage where they are actually being utilized both domestically and internationally through education and production," adding, "We will continue our efforts to ensure that content created in Chungnam can expand onto the global stage."
