The 'Hope Book Tree' book donation challenge, held in collaboration with Giving Plus, gathered around 4,500 messages of support. With additional donations from the Yeongpoong Cultural Foundation, a total of about 5,500 books were secured. The donated books will be delivered to child welfare facilities.
A representative from Yeongpoong Bookstore stated, "Thanks to the warm participation of our members, we were able to continue meaningful donations this year as well," adding, "We will continue to promote a reading culture and pursue social contribution activities together with our customers."
Meanwhile, Yeongpoong Bookstore collaborated with the Gangnam-gu Dementia Relief Center to host the 'Life Drawn Picture Book' exhibition, featuring an art therapy-based cultural program that captures the lives and memories of seniors.
