KB Insurance announced on January 8 that it had conducted a volunteer activity with new employees to help vulnerable groups stay warm during the winter.
On January 7, new employees of KB Insurance visited the Paju Disaster Relief Logistics Center in Paju, Gyeonggi Province, and worked hard assembling "cold wave relief kits" to be delivered to residents of the jjokbangchon (small room villages).

This initiative was organized to provide practical assistance to energy-vulnerable groups expected to face difficulties due to the burden of heating costs and the cold wave during the harsh winter. It also aimed to help new employees, who have become part of the KB Insurance family, experience and cultivate the values of sharing and mutual growth firsthand.
The completed kits were carefully prepared with essential winter items for maintaining body temperature, such as blankets, thermal underwear, warm socks, winter gloves, and heat packs to protect against cold drafts. Convenient meals, including porridge and instant noodles, were also included to help residents who may have difficulty preparing food, ensuring they can spend a warmer winter.
One new employee who participated in the volunteer work shared, "By practicing sharing directly in the field, beyond just training at the training center, I was able to deeply understand the meaning of mutual growth that KB Insurance pursues. I hope the kits we prepared with care will bring at least a little warmth to our neighbors."
A KB Insurance representative stated, "We hope that by starting their careers with volunteer work, our new employees will grow into individuals with warm character. Going forward, KB Insurance will continue to support neighbors in need in the local community together with our executives and staff, and will persistently carry out ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management activities to fulfill our social responsibilities."
KB Insurance continues to promote mutual growth with the local community through a variety of social contribution activities, including the annual year-end "KB Hope Sharing Kimchi Support Project," the "Run Run Challenge" job and entrepreneurship support program for self-reliant youth, the "KB Hope House Building" group home housing improvement project, as well as support programs for traditional markets and small business owners, and initiatives to nurture future generations.
