Goodoc Launches "Admin for Pharmacies" to Enhance Telemedicine Convenience

One-stop Solution for Prescription Transmission, Medication Preparation Tracking, and Advance Payment of Medication Costs

On January 8, Goodoc, a telemedicine platform, announced the launch of its new "Admin for Pharmacies," designed to enhance the convenience of the entire telemedicine process. Goodoc's Admin for Pharmacies focuses on supporting the entire telemedicine journey more efficiently, from prescription transmission and medication preparation tracking to advance payment of medication costs.

The Admin for Pharmacies allows patients who have received telemedicine consultations through the Goodoc app to instantly send their prescriptions to a nearby partner pharmacy and track the medication preparation status in real time.

Previously, patients who received telemedicine consultations had to contact the pharmacy directly to check if their prescription could be filled before visiting. With the Admin for Pharmacies, patients can now complete the entire process-from telemedicine consultation and medication preparation tracking to advance payment of medication costs-quickly and conveniently in a single step through the Goodoc app.

The Admin for Pharmacies offers a variety of features, including one-click prescription transmission, real-time tracking of medication preparation stages, advance payment of medication costs, easy prescription recognition, and optical character recognition (OCR)-based prescription text extraction, all of which enhance convenience for both patients and pharmacies. Through these features, patients can easily check at a glance whether their prescription can be filled, the costs involved, and the estimated time required, all within the app. Pharmacies can also prepare medications more efficiently with simple Pharmacy Management System (PMS) input, improving operational efficiency.
