PLUS High Dividend Stock ETF Sees Fourfold Growth in Net Assets in 2025

The Largest Domestic High Dividend Stock ETF
Enhanced Monthly Dividend System and Increased Distributions Boost Appeal

Hanwha Asset Management announced on January 8 that as of the end of last year, the net asset value of the 'PLUS High Dividend Stock ETF' had increased fourfold compared to the previous year.

The net asset value of the PLUS High Dividend Stock ETF grew from 453.9 billion won at the end of 2024 to 1.8748 trillion won at the end of last year.

The systematization of monthly dividends and the increase in distributions led to rapid expansion in scale. The total annual distribution for the PLUS High Dividend Stock ETF in 2025 is 866 won. Since switching to a monthly dividend in May 2024, the ETF has continued to pay out distributions every month, and in 2025, the distribution amount was raised twice. Based on annual distributions, the ETF achieved an average annual growth rate of 10.5% compared to its first year of payment in 2013.

Consistent returns have also contributed to the growth of the PLUS High Dividend Stock ETF. The ETF recorded returns of 55.46% in 2025, 26.03% in 2024, and 14.30% in 2023, achieving double-digit returns for three consecutive years (2023-2025).

This is attributed to the differentiated management strategy of the PLUS High Dividend Stock ETF. Instead of relying on past dividend records, the ETF selects the top 30 stocks with the highest 'expected dividend yield.' It proactively assesses companies' future value and shareholder return capacity to align with market changes.

Kim Jeongseop, Head of ETF Business Division at Hanwha Asset Management, said, "Last year, the introduction of separate taxation on dividend income led to a significant rise and reevaluation of dividend stocks. As the amendments to the Commercial Act were promoted in three phases, many undervalued dividend stocks saw substantial gains."

He added, "The accumulated track record from long-term management, along with increased market interest in dividend stock investments in 2025, contributed to the inflow of funds."
