Fifteen "C-Lab startups" nurtured by Samsung Electronics participated in "CES 2026," the world's largest IT and home appliance exhibition, held in Las Vegas, United States.
Samsung Electronics set up a "C-Lab (Creative Lab) Exhibition Hall" at the startup pavilion "Eureka Park" within the Venetian Expo from January 6 to 9, 2026 (local time) during CES 2026.
C-Lab is a startup incubation program by Samsung Electronics that discovers and nurtures startups with creative ideas and supports them through commercialization. This year, 15 C-Lab startups participated in the CES exhibition. At their respective booths, the startups welcomed visitors by showcasing a variety of products and innovative services based on the latest technology trends, including artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), robotics, and digital health.
Upon entering Eureka Park, where the exhibition was held, the first thing that caught the eye was the booth of "RONIK," a C-Lab Outside startup. RONIK is a startup developing automated cooking robot solutions for the food service industry by combining robotics technology with AI.

At the exhibition booth, RONIK's cooking robot, which incorporates their solution, captivated visitors by demonstrating its ability to measure, portion, separate, and input various ingredients. While conventional cooking robots have focused on cooking processes such as boiling or stir-frying according to preset recipes, RONIK has differentiated itself by expanding the scope of cooking automation to include ingredient handling.
RONIK explained that by collecting and digitizing a wide range of ingredient data over a long period and applying AI technology, they have made it possible to control even unstructured ingredients.
Jinwhan Oh, CEO of RONIK, whom we met on site, said, "Through technological collaboration with Samsung Electronics, we were able to enhance the completeness of our technology and participate in CES. The diverse feedback from global food and robotics industry professionals we met during the event will be an important asset in further defining our future product development and business direction."

The booth of "Stress Solution," a C-Lab Outside startup from Gyeongbuk, located inside the exhibition hall, also attracted many visitors. Stress Solution has developed a service that generates personalized mental care sounds using AI. Visitors were able to measure their stress levels and then listen to optimal sounds designed to alleviate their stress.
A representative from Stress Solution explained, "Our key differentiator is that we go beyond simply providing a stress index to analyze users' biometric signals in real time and deliver personalized sounds synchronized with autonomic nervous system patterns and electrocardiogram rhythms." The representative added, "Currently, a variety of companies are adopting Stress Solution for their employees, and its application is rapidly expanding into the silver care, education, and sports sectors."
The booth of "11Liter," a C-Lab Outside startup from Daegu offering AI healthcare services for pets, also saw a steady stream of visitors. The "Lifepet" service showcased by 11Liter is a solution that enables easy diagnosis of progressive diseases in pets at home.

At the booth, visitors could upload a single photo of their pet taken with a smartphone to determine and analyze the presence and progression of diseases. By uploading photos of a pet's hind legs, teeth, or eyes-without any additional equipment-the service could check for the likelihood and severity of conditions such as patellar luxation, periodontal disease, obesity, cataracts, and nuclear sclerosis.
Kwanghyun Kim, CEO of 11Liter, said, "Thanks to the support from Samsung Electronics C-Lab, we were able to introduce the 'Lifepet' service in the United States, where the pet healthcare industry is rapidly growing. I believe that participating in this CES will be an important opportunity for us to enter the global market."
The exhibition booth of "Deepscent," a C-Lab Outside startup from Gwangju, was also available for visitors to experience. Deepscent provides AI-based personalized fragrance solutions for individuals and spaces. By using its proprietary application and scent diffuser, Deepscent evaluates olfactory environmental factors (such as scent, odor, and air hygiene) and delivers tailored solutions, earning the company a CES Innovation Award this year.
Ilbong Kwon, CEO of Deepscent, said, "Thanks to the systematic support from C-Lab Outside, Deepscent, as a local startup, was able to gain global recognition for its technology. Participating in CES has brought us one step closer to entering overseas markets, and it is a truly meaningful experience."
Samsung Electronics C-Lab marks its 11th year of participation at CES, having first exhibited in 2016. Over the past 11 years, a total of 126 companies have participated, showcasing the C-Lab innovation ecosystem on the global stage.
An official from the Samsung Electronics Creative Development Center in charge of C-Lab said, "Participating in CES has been a process of validating C-Lab's various attempts and challenges on the global stage. The experience and know-how accumulated by the 126 teams that have participated since 2016 have become important assets in supporting the growth of domestic startups."
