Daejeon Design Promotion Agency and Advanced Root Industry Association to Collaborate on Design and Advanced Root Industry Convergence

The convergence and collaboration between design and advanced root industries will drive the revitalization of the local economy.

The Daejeon Design Promotion Agency (Director Lee Changgi) and the Advanced Root Industry Association (President Hwang Deokyoung) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on January 7 to strengthen the connection between design and advanced root industries, enhance the competitiveness of local industries, and create a sustainable industrial ecosystem.

This agreement was established to build an organic cooperative relationship based on mutual understanding and trust between the two organizations, and to promote the mid- to long-term co-growth of local industries and the design industry through the convergence of design and advanced root industries.

The two organizations plan to cooperate in various fields, including: ▲ strengthening industrial competitiveness through the connection of design and advanced root industries ▲ supporting companies and discovering and promoting joint projects ▲ exchanging human resources and sharing expertise ▲ collaborating on education and capacity building ▲ mutually utilizing human and material resources.

Lee Changgi, Director of the Daejeon Design Promotion Agency, stated, "This agreement marks the starting point for design and advanced root industries to combine their strengths and create new value," adding, "We will continue our collaboration to provide tangible support for strengthening the competitiveness and sustainable growth of local industries."

Hwang Deokyoung, President of the Advanced Root Industry Association, said, "Root industries are the foundation of Korea's manufacturing sector, and design convergence and collaboration for future-oriented manufacturing innovation will lead to the revitalization of the local economy," adding, "We will do our utmost to create synergy between industries, with the association at the center."
