Nineteen Council Members, Including Chairman Lee Hogwi, Attend Ceremony
On January 7, the Gangnam District Council of Seoul (Chairman Lee Hogwi) visited the Seoul National Cemetery to pay tribute to the patriots and fallen heroes who gave their lives for the country.

Nineteen council members attended the memorial, including Chairman Lee Hogwi, Vice Chairman Bok Jingyeong, Steering Committee Chairman Lee Dongho, Administration and Safety Committee Chairman Kang Eulseok, Economic and Urban Committee Chairman Lee Dohui, Welfare and Culture Committee Chairman Kim Hyeonjeong, as well as Kim Gwangsim, Kim Youngkwon, Kim Hyeongdae, Jeon Insu, Lee Hyangsuk, Han Yunsu, Yoon Seokmin, Hwang Younggak, Lee Seongsu, Kim Jingyeong, Son Mingi, Woo Jonghyeok, and Noh Aeja.
The council members honored the noble spirit of the patriots and fallen heroes who sacrificed their lives for the nation through a wreath-laying ceremony and paying their respects. They pledged to inherit the spirit of independence and self-reliance embodied by the patriots, to strengthen local autonomy, and to build a council that serves the residents.
Chairman Lee Hogwi stated, "I will deeply engrave the will of those who sacrificed for the country in my heart," adding, "As a council member representing the residents, I will carry on that spirit and always put the national interest and our residents first."
