Starting this year, Everland launched the "Whatever Series," which features a new theme and a variety of content every month. The first in the series is the Bungeoppang special event, held throughout January. Bungeoppang was chosen as the main theme, considering its status as a representative winter snack.
Accordingly, on January 4, the first weekend of the new year, Everland invited Kim Jinsu (35) and Seo Hyejeong (35), along with their quintuplets-one son and four daughters born in November 2021. The invitation was extended to wish happiness and good health to the quintuplet family, who best embody the warmth of a "family resembling Bungeoppang."
This family attracted significant attention as the first quintuplets born in South Korea in over 30 years. After being featured on television and various media outlets, they have continued to receive widespread public interest and support. Notably, both parents are active-duty military officers, and their story of balancing disciplined military service with raising five children-dubbed "combat parenting"-has garnered particular attention.
During their visit to Everland, the quintuplet family first stopped by the Panda Second House, where they met the twin pandas, Ruibao and Huibao, sharing in the value of life and the meaning of growth. They then participated in a special safari tour, coming face-to-face with tigers, lions, and other wild animals, and enjoyed an exciting safari adventure guided by expert zookeepers.
At Alpine Village, the main venue for Bungeoppang Rush, the family warmed up with a variety of Bungeoppang treats, including red bean and custard cream varieties, and created precious memories during photo sessions and performances.
They also visited the snow sledding hill, a highlight of the winter season. When the quintuplets, wearing Bungeoppang-shaped hats and headbands, appeared at the snow playground, they drew warm smiles and attention from other visitors. The children fully enjoyed winter fun, sledding and playing in the snow at the Snow Playground.
Kim Jinsu and Seo Hyejeong said, "As our children grow, we felt the need for a place to make memories together, and Everland has often come to mind recently. We are grateful for this unforgettable day and hope to visit frequently in the future to create even more memories with our children."
Meanwhile, during the Bungeoppang Rush event throughout January, Everland is offering various customer participation programs, including the "Gather! Bungeo Twins 20,000" event, which allows twins and their families to purchase an all-day pass at the on-site ticket office for 20,000 won per person, along with other special benefits.
