Namyangju City Launches 'Winter Youth Administrative Experience Training'... Shaping the Future in Public Administration Field Joo Kwangdeok, Mayor of Namyangju City, is holding an orientation on the 7th at the city hall Yeoyudang for 80 young people participating in the '2026 Winter Youth Administrative Experience Training.' Provided by Namyangju City

The Youth Administrative Experience Training is a youth participation program that allows local young people to directly experience various public sector workplaces, thereby deepening their understanding of administrative work and supporting them in planning their career paths based on hands-on experience.

This training program runs for a total of 20 days, from January 7 to February 3. The participating youth will be assigned to assist with administrative work in 48 projects across 26 departments, including City Hall and its affiliated offices, gaining practical, field-oriented work experience.

The city also introduced its current youth policies along with an explanation of the training program's operations. Notably, since last year, the city has expanded the eligibility criteria from university students to all young people aged 19 to 39, enabling more youth to experience public administration and strengthen their practical employment skills.

The city expects that this program will increase young people's interest in the local community and administration, and provide meaningful support in exploring career paths through practical experience.

Mayor Joo Gwangdeok encouraged the participants, saying, "I hope you will actively participate in various youth programs, including the administrative experience training, and share your interest and opinions on city policies. I expect that your small beginnings will become valuable stepping stones that open the door to your dreams and future."
