On January 6, Yangju City held the "Current Government National Agenda Training for All Employees" in the large conference room in the basement of City Hall to share the current government's national vision and key tasks with all employees.

This training was organized to help public officials clearly understand the government's core philosophy, thereby strengthening the connection with Yangju City's key projects and enhancing practical policy response capabilities, including securing national funding.

The lecturer was Kim Hogi, Professor Emeritus at Yonsei University, who served as a member of the National Planning Advisory Committee at the launch of the current government. Having also chaired the Policy Advisory Committee of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, Professor Kim provided in-depth insights into the current government's policy direction, based on his experience participating in national agenda design.

The lecture, titled "The Current Government's National Vision and Agenda," drew significant attention, with over 200 public officials in attendance.

Professor Kim offered a detailed explanation of the five core national goals centered on the government's vision of "A nation where the people are the owners, a Korea where everyone is happy together." These included: ▲ Politics that unites the people ▲ An innovative economy leading the world ▲ Balanced growth where everyone prospers ▲ A society with strong fundamentals ▲ Diplomacy and security centered on national interests. He also focused on the "12 Key Strategic Tasks" currently being promoted by the government, as well as core initiatives that will determine the future of local governments, such as ▲ Becoming one of the world's top three AI powers ▲ Achieving balanced national growth centered on five major regions and three special zones based on decentralized autonomy.

Yangju City plans to actively incorporate the core national keywords identified through this training into municipal operations and to discover new projects aligned with central government policy directions to drive regional development. In particular, all public officials at grade 5 or above were required to attend, further strengthening the policy response capabilities of the city's leadership.

A Yangju City official stated, "This will serve as an opportunity for all employees to accurately grasp the flow of national administration and realize 'competent administration' that provides tangible benefits to citizens," adding, "We will continue to focus our administrative efforts on securing national funding and responding to policies in connection with the national agenda."
