Daegu Office of Education to Hire 55 New Education Administrative Staff: "Recruitment Will Be Fair and Transparent"

The Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Kang Eunhee) announced on January 7 that it will hire 55 new education administrative staff to promptly fill vacancies caused by retirements and other departures, and to provide smooth support at schools.


The positions to be filled include 46 special education assistants, 6 dedicated special-neulbom support staff, and 3 school bus safety personnel.

Anyone aged 18 or older who has their resident registration address in Daegu is eligible to apply. Final candidates will begin working at public schools or institutions under the Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education starting March 1.


To enhance fairness and transparency in the recruitment process, the Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education will disclose the evaluation criteria for each stage and offer both online and in-person application options for the convenience of applicants.


Applicants may submit their applications online through the 'Online Teacher Recruitment' system or in person at the Administrative Management Division (East Building, 6th floor) of the Office of Education.


The recruitment schedule is as follows: online application submission from January 7 to January 12, in-person application submission from January 13 to January 14, announcement of successful document screening candidates on January 23, and interviews from January 28 to January 30. The final successful candidates will be announced on the Office of Education's website on February 4.


Kang Eunhee, Superintendent of the Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education, stated, "Through a fair and transparent recruitment process, we will select talented individuals and provide more thorough support for educational activities at schools."
