Top 10 in Global Google Play Game Revenue
"Strengthening the Power and Recognition of the 'MapleStory' IP"
Nexon announced on January 7 that the mobile idle role-playing game (RPG) 'Maple Raising', co-developed with AbleGames, has surpassed 3 million cumulative users worldwide in just about two months since its official launch.
'Maple Raising' recorded a peak daily active user (DAU) count of approximately 570,000 and a peak concurrent user count of about 140,000 in its first month after launch in November 2025. The game showed rapid growth, achieving even higher figures in December.
Not only has the game achieved significant results in key Asian markets such as Korea, Taiwan, and Singapore, but it has also performed well in North America. As a result, it remains within the top 10 of the global revenue rankings on Google Play Games. The main factors behind its global success include the familiar characters and universe of the 'MapleStory' intellectual property (IP), the easy and accessible gameplay typical of the idle RPG genre, and the engaging experience of vertical progression.
Nexon will add a new guild event feature called 'Guild Training Grounds' through an update scheduled for January 8. The update will also include expanded dungeon and party quest difficulty levels, the addition of new Ancient-grade weapons, and the introduction of a guild ranking page, among other diverse content.
A Nexon representative stated, "We will continue to enhance user engagement through ongoing updates with new content," adding, "We aim to further strengthen the power and recognition of the 'MapleStory' IP in the global market."
