Accelerating the Integration of AI into Data Security
Declaration of "AI-Based Intelligent Data Security AX"
Innotium, a company specializing in data security platforms, has appointed Kim Jongpil, former Vice President of Sison AI, as its new co-CEO.
According to Innotium on January 7, the newly appointed CEO Kim Jongpil holds a graduate degree in Information Protection and Industrial Security from Chung-Ang University and is a leading expert in sales and business strategy with over 25 years of experience in the information protection and industrial security sectors. He previously served as Executive Vice President of Sales at SoftCamp, where he led major security infrastructure projects for enterprises, financial institutions, and public organizations, playing a key role in the company’s KOSDAQ listing based on these achievements. Subsequently, as Vice President at Sison AI, a company specializing in vision AI, he spearheaded new AI-based security business strategies.
Upon taking office, CEO Kim declared a leap forward with "Innotium 2.0: AI-Based Intelligent Data Security AX Platform." His strategy is to establish an intelligent data security environment in which AI analyzes the flow of internal and external data-including personal and technical information-in real time, and predicts and responds to abnormal activities in advance. In particular, the company plans to introduce next-generation security solutions that combine data security technologies with vision AI-based biometric authentication such as facial recognition, grounded in the Zero Trust security philosophy.
Focusing on its "Inno Smart Platform," which integrates 11 endpoint data security management features-including document centralization, leakage and hacking prevention, screen watermarking, data tracking, and user activity logs-Innotium is accelerating its transition from a traditional on-premise business structure to a subscription-based service (SaaS) model. Through this, the company aims not only to strengthen profitability but also to lay the foundation for global market expansion.
CEO Kim emphasized, "Innotium has long been a solid data security company focused on data management and security technologies. Now, by incorporating AI DNA, we will evolve into a company that provides the smartest and safest AI security platform for managing data, starting with the financial sector and expanding to all industries."
Meanwhile, with the launch of the new co-CEO system, Innotium will clarify the division of roles between CEO Lee Hyungtaek, who oversees management and technology, and CEO Kim Jongpil, who is responsible for business and strategy. The company also plans to significantly increase R&D investment to secure next-generation data security projects and advance AX security technologies, focusing on the financial sector, defense industry, and large enterprises.
