6th Nexus Writers’ Award Now Accepting Submissions Until March 31... Grand Prize of 30 Million Won Nexus Award-winning works throughout history. Provided by Nexus

The Nexus Writers’ Award has expanded its submission criteria from previously focusing on short and medium-length works to now include full-length novels, thereby relaxing restrictions on length and format. For this 6th edition, manuscripts must be between 600 and 1,200 pages in manuscript format, and submissions are accepted in all genres, including pure literature, science fiction, mystery, and young adult fiction, without any genre limitations. Both new and established writers are eligible to apply.

Prize money and royalties will be paid separately for the winning entries. The grand prize winner will receive 30 million won in prize money, which is paid independently of any advance. If the winning work is published as a standalone book, a 10% royalty based on sales volume will be paid in addition to the prize money.

The selected work will be published as a standalone book under Nexus’s literary brand ‘&’, and promotional activities will be carried out through both online and offline distribution channels. A Nexus representative stated, “The goal is to create an environment in which writers can focus on their creative work.”

Submissions can only be made online through the official Nexus Writers’ Award website. Manuscripts must be prepared in either Hangul Word Processor or Microsoft Word file formats, using Batang font, 11-point size, 160% line spacing, and A4 paper size. Manuscripts can be revised and re-uploaded during the submission period.

Submitted works must be original creations that have not been published or announced in any domestic or international media. Entries will be excluded from consideration if plagiarism, overlapping awards in other contests, or AI collaboration is detected. Winners will be notified individually at the end of June, and the official announcement will be made on the Nexus website in July.
