Ulju County Recruiting Beneficiaries for "Ulju-Style Housekeeping Care Service for Pregnant Women"

For Pregnant Women and Families with Infants Under One Year Old
Up to Six Months of Housekeeping Support Provided

Ulju County in Ulsan is recruiting beneficiaries for the "Ulju-Style Housekeeping Care Service for Pregnant Women" to support households facing increased domestic burdens due to pregnancy and childbirth.

On January 7, Ulju County announced that it will be accepting applications for users of the "Ulju-Style Housekeeping Care Service for Pregnant Women," which provides domestic care services to pregnant women and families with a child less than one year old, from January 12 to January 22.

The Ulju-Style Housekeeping Care Service for Pregnant Women is a program designed to alleviate the burden on households struggling with daily chores due to pregnancy and childbirth. A housekeeping manager will visit eligible households once a week to provide comprehensive domestic services, including cleaning, laundry, and organizing.

This service is provided in the form of vouchers, and the maximum usage period is six months. The service is available once a week, with each session lasting three hours (including a 20-minute break). The personal copayment is 24,000 won per month (6,000 won per session), and households classified as legally low-income can use the service free of charge.

This year, a total of 100 households will be selected. Interested households can apply by visiting the administrative welfare center in their local town or township.

For more details, please refer to the Ulju County Office website (Open County Administration - General Announcements) or contact your local administrative welfare center or the Women and Family Division of Ulju County Office for assistance.

Ulju County is pursuing a variety of birth and childcare support policies to create a child-friendly environment, including childbirth incentives (700,000 won for the first child, 2.5 million won for the second child, and 5 million won for the third child), childbirth congratulatory gifts, indoor mats to prevent inter-floor noise, entrance congratulatory funds for third or subsequent children, and youth growth support funds.
