First-ever 'Johnnie Walker Blue' Pop-up by a Retailer
Lotte Department Store announced on January 7 that it will be the first retailer to launch a 'Johnnie Walker Blue' pop-up store to celebrate the Year of the Horse in the Byeong-O year.
This event, organized through a partnership between Lotte Department Store and the spirits company Diageo Korea, will take place from January 9 to 22 at 'The Crown' on Basement Level 1 of Lotte Department Store's Jamsil AvenueL branch.

'Johnnie Walker Blue' introduces a limited edition series each year that combines the animal symbolizing that year with artistic inspiration. The 2026 Year of the Horse edition was created in collaboration with world-renowned London-based fashion designer Robert Wun.
The pop-up store will offer the largest range of benefits to customers who purchase the Johnnie Walker Blue Year of the Horse edition. Customers who visit the pop-up store and make a purchase will receive a 30,000 won discount promotion and a Glencairn glass worth 40,000 won. In addition, a 'self-stamp set' (including a stamp, acrylic frame, and gold number stickers) will be provided in limited quantities to purchasers. An engraving service will also be available, allowing customers to personalize their bottle with a message and design of their choice.
Premium experiential content will also be featured, allowing visitors to experience the Johnnie Walker series. Notably, there will be a tasting event where attendees can sample the top-tier lines, 'Johnnie Walker Blue' and 'Johnnie Walker XR21.' Tastings will be held three times on weekdays (at 1 p.m., 6 p.m., and 7 p.m.), and four times on weekends (at 1 p.m., 2 p.m., 6 p.m., and 7 p.m.).
A fragrance zone has also been set up. Throughout the pop-up period, the fragrance zone will allow visitors to experience the aromas of six flagship lines: Johnnie Walker Blue, Black, Green, Gold, XR21, and Black Ruby. Additionally, an exhibition space has been created to showcase the story of the collaboration with Robert Wun.
