[Today's New Release] Italy's Tommasi Amarone Launches Limited Edition with "Alchemist of Color" Jang Seungtaek

Launch of the "Tommasi Amarone della Valpolicella Classico" Art Label

Geumyang International announced on January 7 that the Italian Amarone premium winery TOMMASI has launched a limited-edition wine in collaboration with Jang Seungtaek, a master of contemporary Korean art.

This "Tommasi Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Art Label" was created through a special partnership with Jang Seungtaek, known as the "Alchemist of Color." Jang Seungtaek is a notable figure in the Korean contemporary art scene, recognized for his original work that explores light and color using a wide range of materials.

Tommasi Amarone is crafted through the "Appassimento" process, in which grapes are dried for over 100 days to concentrate their sweetness and aroma. This patient process parallels the artist's "Layered Painting" series, where he builds up countless layers of color and emotion on canvas. The art label conveys a shared message of authenticity and craftsmanship born from the accumulation of time and the repetition of dedicated actions.

Tommasi Amarone della Valpolicella Classico is regarded as a leading wine in the domestic Amarone market. This limited edition maximizes its collectible value by adding artistic rarity to the wine’s profound flavors.
