On the morning of the same day, President Lee will attend the Korea-China Venture & Startup Summit held in Shanghai, where he will interact with young entrepreneurs from both countries who are leading innovation through digital technology in fields such as content, healthcare, infrastructure, and energy. He will seek ways to make the venture and startup sector a new pillar of future-oriented cooperation between Korea and China.
As the last official event of his state visit to China, President Lee will also visit the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea building in Shanghai. Marking the 80th anniversary of Liberation in 2025, the 150th anniversary of Kim Gu's birth in 2026, and the 100th anniversary of the Shanghai Provisional Government building, the visit aims to honor the sacrifices and dedication of independence activists and commemorate the shared historical experience of Korea and China working together to restore national sovereignty.

During his visit, he met with all of China's top three leaders, including President Xi Jinping, Premier Li Qiang, and Chairman Zhao Leji of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, discussing a wide range of topics such as expanding economic cooperation and ensuring peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula.
In addition, the Korea-China Business Forum was held for the first time in nine years, with the participation of key business leaders from both countries. The forum explored various areas of cooperation to create new economic partnership opportunities based on the complementary strengths of the two countries in manufacturing, consumer goods, and services. Immediately following the summit, a signing ceremony was held for 14 memorandums of understanding (MOUs) between government ministries and agencies of both countries, including the "Certificate of Donation for a Pair of Qing Dynasty Stone Lions" from China. The two countries signed MOUs such as the "MOU on Establishing a New Dialogue for Commercial Cooperation," which will institutionalize regular meetings between the commerce ministers of Korea and China, and the "MOU on Strengthening Industrial Park Cooperation," aimed at boosting investment between industrial parks and solidifying cooperation in industry and supply chains.
