Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Business & Science Accelerator have upgraded the service of their "Enterprise Difficulty Resolution Platform."
On January 7, Gyeonggi Province and the Accelerator announced that they have developed a new Enterprise SOS System (www.giupsos.or.kr) to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which will be available starting in January.
The Enterprise SOS System is a customized platform for resolving business difficulties, eliminating the need for companies to search for the responsible agency or inquire about the status of their requests one by one. It is designed to enable rapid consultations by incorporating artificial intelligence (GPT). In particular, it features a Speech-to-Text (STT) capability, allowing users to submit their issues using only their voice.
The GPT function helps by having AI organize and summarize the key points when a company enters its difficulties, enabling faster consultation and response. Simple inquiries are immediately guided toward a solution, while cases requiring additional support are connected to consultation requests and expert referrals.
The STT service allows companies to leave their issues via phone, with the voice automatically converted into text and submitted as an application. This enables companies to report their problems on-site or while on the move, making the service easily accessible without burden.
An online one-stop portal has been established where companies can submit their difficulties in one go and track the resolution process in one place. After registering as a member, companies can submit their concerns via PC or mobile, and receive real-time notifications at each stage of the process, including submission, assignment of a handler, and response.
Mobile features, improved issue resolution procedures, and communication functions have also been introduced.
Companies can easily submit complex issues via mobile or PC, and even if multiple agencies and departments are involved, a single submission ensures that all relevant organizations (the province, cities and counties, public institutions) are notified simultaneously for prompt handling. This allows companies to receive the necessary support without having to contact multiple agencies, significantly reducing the time and cost associated with administrative procedures.
Suh Gapsoo, Director of Regulatory Reform at Gyeonggi Province, stated, "Enterprise SOS is not a system where companies have to adjust to the administration, but a platform where the administration adapts to the needs of companies," adding, "We have focused on listening to the problems companies face quickly and providing practical solutions."
