Promoting Local Economic Revitalization and Expanding Market Opportunities
The Gangwon Special Self-Governing Provincial Office of Education will hold the '2026 Construction, Service, and Goods Procurement Plan Briefing Session' at Chiak Gymnasium in Wonju on the 23rd to promote a culture of transparent contracting and mutual growth with the local economy.
This briefing session has been organized to help local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) expand their market access by providing 1:1 customized matching consultations and expanding product exhibition booths. It also aims to strengthen the integrity of education in Gangwon by spreading a transparent and fair contracting culture.
A total of 57 booths will be set up, with 25 related organizations-including the Provincial Office of Education, local education support offices, and the Gangwon Regional Public Procurement Service-and 32 SMEs participating in product exhibitions and promotions.
The Provincial Office of Education expects that this briefing session will serve as a communication platform to help companies prepare for projects in advance, revitalize the stagnant local economy, and take the lead in realizing social value through public procurement.
Kim Namhak, Director, said, "I hope this briefing session will provide practical help in revitalizing the local economy and expanding market opportunities for companies in the province."
Meanwhile, companies wishing to participate in the 1:1 customized consultations and product exhibitions should apply in advance to the Provincial Office of Education by the 12th.
