Thirty First-Year Students from Changwon Mechanical Technical High School Visit SG Solution

On January 6, Changwon Special City conducted a company tour program for 30 first-year students from Changwon Mechanical Technical High School at SG Solution, located in Seongsan-gu, Changwon.

This program was organized by the Changwon Industry Promotion Agency to deepen students' understanding of local industries through on-site experiences and to foster a positive perception of local companies.

Established in 2002, SG Solution is a leading small and strong company in the region, recognized for its technological expertise in the specialized design and manufacturing of general and servo hydraulic equipment, as well as power transmission devices.

The students listened to company representatives explain the company's history, main products, and its role in the defense industry sector. They also toured the production lines to see firsthand how the theories learned at school are applied in real-world settings.

Choi Jeongkyu, Director of Lifelong Education, stated, "I hope this company tour helps students discover our region's strong small and medium-sized enterprises and provides practical assistance as they plan their future careers. We will continue to actively run various programs that connect local companies and schools."

Meanwhile, since 2024, the city has been promoting the Educational Development Special Zone project in cooperation with the Changwon Industry Promotion Agency and five local universities. In 2026, the city plans to continue various support projects to create a virtuous cycle ecosystem in which local talent is employed by and settles in local companies, based on the connection between regional industries and educational institutions.
