The Cadastral Resurvey Project is a national initiative aimed at resolving discrepancies between actual land use and cadastral records by adjusting land boundaries to reflect reality and digitizing them.
From last year through this year, the city has been implementing the Cadastral Resurvey Project in four districts, covering a total of 658 parcels of land. In this process, the city prioritized villages where collective complaints had been filed due to cadastral inconsistencies, and is carrying out the project with the goal of eliminating all such inconsistencies by 2030.
Kim Kyunghee, Mayor of Icheon, stated, "This award is the result of the active cooperation of our citizens and the diligent work of our staff," adding, "We will continue to implement the project without delay to protect the valuable property rights of our citizens and resolve unnecessary disputes."
