City Bus and Truck Collide Near Sinmokdong Station on Seoul Subway Line 9

Several people were injured in an accident involving a bus and a truck near Sinmokdong Station on Seoul Subway Line 9 in Yangcheon-gu, Seoul.

According to the Yangcheon Police Station in Seoul, at around 1:06 p.m. on January 6, a city bus making a left turn collided with a truck traveling straight at an intersection near Sinmokdong Station.

As a result of the accident, 11 people, including the truck driver and bus passengers, were injured. Among them, three people-including a man in his 70s and a woman in her 40s who were on the bus-were transported to the hospital.

The fire authorities are currently working to lift the truck, which overturned due to the impact of the accident.

The police conducted alcohol and drug tests on the truck driver, but the results were negative.
