COTS Technology Holds 2026 Kick-Off Ceremony at New Gwacheon Headquarters, Unveils Vision as Global Embedded Systems Company

COTS Technology, a company specializing in defense industry embedded systems based on SBC (Single Board Computer) and led by CEO Jiwon Cho, announced on the 6th that it held a New Year’s kick-off ceremony at its new headquarters in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi Province, where it unveiled its new CI and shared its mid- to long-term vision.

This kick-off ceremony was the first official event since relocating to the Gwacheon headquarters, and was organized so that all employees could mark the beginning of the year and share future business directions in the new work environment. Notably, the company officially declared its new mission, vision, and slogan, redefining the direction it will pursue in the future.

COTS Technology announced its vision to become a “global embedded systems company” under the mission “Protecting the world with technology, creating tomorrow through innovation.” The newly unveiled slogan, “We Empower Core,” reflects the company’s commitment to focusing all of its capabilities on customers and industries through core embedded system technologies. The company’s newly declared core values, C.O.T.S, stand for ▲Creativity (Innovative Thinking) ▲Openness (Open Attitude) ▲Trust ▲Superiority (Technological Excellence).

In his New Year’s address, CEO Jiwon Cho stated, “The relocation to the Gwacheon headquarters lays the foundation for greater work efficiency and enhanced research and development (R&D) capabilities,” adding, “In 2026, we will focus on solidifying our accumulated core technology competitiveness and maintaining and expanding a stable growth structure.”

To this end, COTS Technology has set the following key management tasks for this year: ▲Strengthening core business competitiveness centered on SBC (Single Board Computer) and embedded systems ▲Advancing the business portfolio in both defense and civilian sectors ▲Reinforcing a stable business foundation by expanding cooperation with existing customers. In addition, the company is reviewing ways to gradually expand its business areas and market reach based on its core technologies over the mid- to long-term.

In particular, in 2026, the company plans to leverage the technological capabilities and business experience accumulated in the domestic market to identify overseas business opportunities step by step through participation in international exhibitions and market research focused on Europe. Regarding embedded systems, including SBCs, the company aims to thoroughly analyze the technical requirements, demand, and business environment in the European defense industry market to establish a foothold for global expansion.

CEO Jiwon Cho emphasized, “While maintaining the stability of our domestic business, we will steadily prepare for new growth opportunities by broadening our understanding of overseas markets over the mid- to long-term.”

Meanwhile, the kick-off ceremony also included awards for long-serving and outstanding employees, providing an opportunity to recognize their dedication and foster a sense of pride among all staff members.
