Orion Expands Production Line for "Market O Nature Oh! Granola"

Sales Up About 30% Year-on-Year in 2025
Iksan Factory Expansion Doubles Production Capacity

Orion announced on January 6 that it has expanded the production line for "Market O Nature Oh! Granola" and is working to increase supply.

As more consumers seek convenient yet balanced meals, granola is gaining attention not only as a meal replacement but also as a healthy snack. Unlike corn flakes, which are made by mixing corn flour with sugar and other ingredients and are high in carbohydrates and sugar, granola is characterized by being baked with whole grains and nuts, making it rich in dietary fiber and offering a savory flavor. It is gaining popularity among consumers who seek both health and taste.

Amid this trend, "Oh! Granola" achieved approximately 30% year-on-year sales growth for the entire brand in 2025. In particular, "Oh! Granola Low Sugar Whole Barley" has surpassed cumulative sales of 1 million packs, gaining word-of-mouth popularity as a product that is both low in sugar and delicious. Some retailers even experienced shortages due to high demand.

To stably meet the growing demand, Orion has added a new production line for Oh! Granola at its Iksan factory. With this expansion, production capacity has roughly doubled compared to before, and the introduction of new ovens and advanced equipment has made it possible to produce a wider variety of granola products.

Orion plans to focus on expanding supply, centering on the most popular "Oh! Granola Low Sugar Whole Barley," while also broadening its granola product lineup-including low-sugar options-to accelerate its entry into the convenience food market.

Since launching "Market O Nature Oh! Granola" in July 2018, Orion has continuously introduced products tailored to consumer preferences and lifestyles, leading the popularization of granola in the domestic cereal market, which was previously dominated by corn flakes. The company currently offers a total of 10 products in Korea and is promoting K-granola overseas through major distribution channels such as OLE (a premium supermarket in China), Costco, and RT-Mart.

An Orion representative stated, "With the recent trend toward health-conscious consumption, Oh! Granola has become so popular that supply cannot keep up with demand. By expanding our production lines, we aim to ensure more consumers can enjoy Oh! Granola, and we will continue to introduce a variety of new products in the future."
