This pledge ceremony was organized to instill a culture that prioritizes consumer protection throughout the entire business process, from product manufacturing to after-sales management.

The ceremony followed a systematic sequence: introduction of the revised Consumer Protection Charter and slogan; reading and signing of the Consumer Protection Charter; pledge by the heads of manufacturing, sales, and after-sales management divisions; and finally, signatures by the executive management team.

All attending executives and division heads personally signed the Consumer Protection Charter, reaffirming their commitment to action. The division heads representing manufacturing, sales, and after-sales management read the pledge aloud, demonstrating their sense of responsibility in the field. Subsequently, five members of the executive management team-including the CEO, CFO, Head of Wealth Management, Head of Channel Solutions, and Head of Digital & Pension-signed the charter, publicly declaring the company's commitment to consumer protection at all levels.

The signed charter contains seven key promises: "Think and act from the customer's perspective," "Comply with laws and protect personal information," "Provide accurate product explanations," "Prohibit discrimination against seniors and people with disabilities and create an accessible environment," "Operate a prompt and fair damage relief system," "Actively reflect the voices of financial consumers," and "Offer a variety of educational programs for financial consumers."

Park Jongmun, CEO of Samsung Securities, stated, "To uphold the Financial Consumer Protection Charter we have signed and pledged to today, and to achieve sustainable growth, consumer protection must be at the center of all our work." He emphasized, "Samsung Securities cannot exist without the trust of our customers," urging all employees to carry out their work with this mindset.

Samsung Securities plans to publicly announce its commitment to consumer protection to all employees and customers, and to implement a variety of practical initiatives following this pledge ceremony.

As a first step, the revised Consumer Protection Charter will be posted on the Samsung Securities website to publicly declare the company's commitment to consumer protection. The slogan and charter will also be displayed on computer screensavers to raise employee awareness. The company will hold an internal "my CoC (Code of Conduct) for Consumer Protection" event, soliciting specific ideas for putting consumer protection into practice at work, and will actively apply the best ideas to company-wide operations.

In addition, Samsung Securities will continuously monitor the status and outcomes of consumer protection throughout the year, sharing best practices and key issues company-wide to establish a culture where consumer protection is a core value in the field, not just a slogan. Outstanding departments and employees who contribute exemplary cases of consumer protection discovered through these activities will be recognized to encourage participation.

Furthermore, the company will operate a consumer evaluation group, Net Promoter Score (NPS), and customer panel system to assess and identify areas for improvement in consumer protection levels. To further stimulate internal awareness, Samsung Securities will designate a "Consumer Protection Day" featuring lectures by external experts, and will operate the first week of each year as Consumer Protection Week, continuing to implement a variety of related programs.

A Samsung Securities representative stated, "Financial consumer protection is an essential value in the securities industry for building trust with customers and achieving sustainable growth," adding, "Through genuine behavioral change, we aim to impress our customers and solidify our status as a trusted financial partner in the market."
