The Era of Physical AI Begins in Earnest
Focused Investment in Korea's Humanoid Value Chain
Mirae Asset Global Investments announced on January 6 that it will newly list the 'TIGER Korea Humanoid Robot Industry ETF' on the Korea Exchange.
The ETF will focus on the pure humanoid robot value chain. If a key company is newly listed, the fund plans to actively respond by including it through a special fast-track process. Major components of the ETF include Rainbow Robotics, Robotis, and SPG.
The ETF is attracting attention ahead of 'CES 2026,' the world's largest IT exhibition. With humanoids emerging as a core theme at CES 2026, it is expected that major Korean companies will unveil their mass production and commercialization roadmaps. In particular, interest is growing in the Korean-style humanoid ecosystem, especially around the 'Humanoid M.AX Alliance' led by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
Jung Euihyun, Head of ETF Management at Mirae Asset Global Investments, stated, "In the era of physical AI, humanoid robots represent a key industry where AI technology is integrated with physical reality. Korea possesses full-stack competitiveness from components to software, so the TIGER Korea Humanoid Robot Industry ETF will allow investors to directly benefit from the growth of the K-robot industry."
