On January 6, Samsung Electronics will conduct the third round of sales for its double-folding smartphone, the Galaxy Z Tri-fold. According to industry sources, Samsung Electronics will begin accepting restock purchase requests on Samsung.com starting at 10 a.m. on January 6. Offline sales will take place at 20 major stores nationwide, including Samsung Gangnam.

Customers who visited stores but were unable to purchase the device during the second round of sales on December 17 will be given priority purchasing opportunities, and any remaining units will then be made available for general sale.

The quantity to be released this time has not been disclosed, but it is reported to be limited, similar to the previous two rounds. Instead, Samsung Electronics is expected to supply a small number of units each week throughout the month to meet demand.

The Tri-fold, which was launched on December 12, attracted attention as all units at major stores sold out immediately after opening on the launch day and again during the second round of sales on December 17. Online, all available units were also sold out within minutes of sales starting.
