According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, as of 5 a.m., the temperatures in major regions are as follows: Seoul -6.7°C, Incheon -5.2°C, Suwon -8.1°C, Chuncheon -10.7°C, Gangneung -1.1°C, Cheongju -4.8°C, Daejeon -6.4°C, Jeonju -5.4°C, Gwangju -3.2°C, Jeju 3.6°C, Daegu -2.0°C, Busan -1.3°C, Ulsan -3.2°C, and Changwon -1.4°C. Daytime temperatures are forecast to range between 2°C and 9°C.
From late at night, snow or rain is expected in Gangwon Province and Jeju Island, continuing into the next day. The expected snowfall over two days is 1 to 5 cm in the mountainous areas of Jeju Island and around 1 cm in the inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon Province. During the same period, the expected precipitation is less than 5 mm in Jeju Island and around 1 mm in the inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon Province.
The fine dust concentration is expected to remain at 'Good' to 'Moderate' levels across all regions due to smooth atmospheric dispersion.
Wave heights in the seas will be 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the East Sea coastal waters and 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the West and South Sea coastal waters. In the offshore areas (within approximately 200 km from the coastline), wave heights will be 1.0 to 3.0 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the South Sea.
