First, CEO Lee emphasized, "The achievements we made last year mean more than just numbers," adding, "They are the result of the intense commitment of our executives and employees who contemplated the essence of work and sought to solve problems."

Daewoong Pharmaceutical posted solid results last year, driven by the growth of innovative new drugs such as Fexuclu, Enblo, and Nabota. Significant achievements have also been made in the research and development (R&D) sector. 'Bersiporocin,' currently under development as the world's first treatment for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, is progressing smoothly through global Phase 2 clinical trials, while the semaglutide microneedle patch has entered Phase 1 clinical trials.

The digital healthcare business has also become a new growth engine. The AI-based hospital bed monitoring system "THINK" has been supplied to more than 13,000 beds nationwide.

CEO Lee identified employee happiness as the future vision the organization should collectively pursue. He said, "If you feel excited on your way to work in the morning, have no worries about the future, and can immerse yourself in your work without concerns about your health, then that is what makes a workplace where employees are truly happy."

He stressed that the ultimate goal of creating a great work environment is to drive changes in the way work is done that lead to results. He stated, "The traditional ways of experience and knowledge are no longer sufficient," presenting a sense of ownership and ambitious goals as key concepts. He continued, "A Daewoong employee is someone who takes ownership of a task and decides on both the responsibility and the approach. Only through relentless learning, earnest contemplation, and thorough execution can we truly grow and reach ambitious goals."

Building on this organizational culture innovation, Daewoong Pharmaceutical plans to make 2026 a turning point for innovation and aims to become a global healthcare company that goes beyond medicine-centered treatment to connect and manage health data for the entire population.

In particular, the company presented the establishment of a 24-hour nationwide health monitoring system as a core vision. The plan is to lead an integrated healthcare ecosystem that connects hospital and daily health data into a single platform, covering prediction, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and post-care. In addition, Daewoong Pharmaceutical intends to accelerate the realization of its "1 Product, 1 Trillion Won" blockbuster vision through AI-based R&D innovation and global business expansion.

CEO Lee stated, "When you encounter obstacles, you need a 'jungle spirit' that treats them not as excuses but as challenges to overcome. Only relentless learning, earnest contemplation, and thorough, determined action can produce great results." He added, "On your journey to becoming the industry's top experts, the company will be your strongest supporter. Let's create a workplace together where mornings are exciting and there are no worries about the future or your health."
