Panstar Group Appoints Former POSCO Coated & Color Steel President Hadaryong as CSO and Vice Chairman; Announces Executive Appointments

Panstar Group, a comprehensive shipping and logistics company, announced on January 5 that it has appointed Hadaryong, former President of POSCO Coated & Color Steel (age 61), as Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) and Vice Chairman. Executive appointments were also made on the same day.

Vice Chairman Ha joined POSCO in 1989 and held key positions in public relations and global marketing. He also served as Head of POSCO Holdings' European Representative Office, establishing himself as a strategy expert overseeing global planning.

As the head of the Group's Management Strategy Center, Vice Chairman Ha will be responsible for enhancing corporate value through organic collaboration and synergy among affiliates, as well as concretizing mid- to long-term growth strategies.

He will also concurrently serve as CEO of Panstar Infra Construction and Panstar SP Trading, while overseeing the Panstar Enterprise Hesbon Business Division.

Panstar Group has restructured its organization by specializing and focusing the existing Planning and Coordination Office into the Management Administration Center and Management Strategy Center, and by expanding the Cargo Headquarters into two divisions: the Global Cargo Headquarters and the Global Operations Strategy Headquarters.

Ryu Ikhyun was appointed as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Head of the Management Administration Center; Kang Sangin as Head of the Global Cargo Headquarters; and Eom Sanghoon as Vice Chairman and Head of the Global Operations Strategy Headquarters.

In the Japan-based local subsidiary Sunstar Line, Ochiai Takanori, Executive Vice President (Head of the Management Administration Division), and Ueno Yusuke, Vice President (Head of the Japan Cargo Business Division), were both promoted to President.

Kim Bojoong, Managing Director of the Passenger Division, was promoted to Senior Managing Director; Baek Hyunchung, Director, was promoted to Managing Director; and Lee Sangwon, Deputy Director of the Japan Cargo Business Division, was promoted to Director.
