As the KOSPI once again broke its all-time high, the status board at the Hana Bank headquarters dealing room in Jung-gu, Seoul on January 5 displayed the KOSPI, won/dollar exchange rate, and KOSDAQ. On this day, the KOSPI opened at 4,385.92, up 76.29 points (1.77%) from the previous session, surpassing the previous intraday all-time high of 4,313.55 recorded on the last trading day (January 2). The KOSDAQ rose by 0.43 points (0.05%) to 946.00.
