The new products are characterized by a balanced blend of konjac and rice, resulting in lower calories while maintaining a sense of fullness. They are designed for consumers interested in meal management, offering the satisfying feeling of a bowl of rice without the guilt, making them easy to enjoy.

"Gappeunhan Meal Konjac White Rice" combines konjac and white rice to recreate the texture and taste of traditional white rice. Each 130g serving contains 145 kcal, making it a light option. "Gappeunhan Meal Konjac Brown Rice & Mixed Grains" adds brown rice, oats, and glutinous barley to konjac, enhancing the nutritional value of mixed grain rice while reducing the calories to 135 kcal per 130g serving. Notably, the brown rice and mixed grains variant contains 4.9g of dietary fiber per serving, making it a healthy choice.

Both products use Sihyangmi rice to minimize the distinctive aroma of konjac and retain the savory taste and aroma of freshly cooked rice. The 130g small-portion packaging is suitable for consumers who need to control their meal sizes, and the products can be conveniently prepared in a microwave, making them ideal for busy lifestyles.

An Ottogi representative stated, "The two types of Gappeunhan Meal Konjac Rice were developed for consumers who want to enjoy the heartiness of a bowl of rice without worrying about calories," adding, "We plan to continue introducing a variety of convenient meals under the 'Gappeunhan Meal' brand to help with daily meal management."
