On January 4 (local time), ahead of the opening of CES 2026, Samsung Electronics unveiled its 130-inch Micro RGB (Red, Green, Blue) TV at the 'The First Look' event held in Las Vegas, USA.

Following its world-first launch of the 115-inch Micro RGB TV in August last year, Samsung Electronics has now introduced the 130-inch Micro RGB TV, which combines an overwhelming screen size with an innovative design.

The Micro RGB TV applies an RGB color backlight by arranging micro-sized RGB LEDs (light-emitting diodes) on the screen, enabling precise and independent control of red, green, and blue colors.

In particular, by implementing Micro RGB technology that reduces the size of RGB LED chips to below 100 micrometers (μm), the TV can control screen color and brightness with even more detail and precision.

The Micro RGB technology maximizes the 'local dimming effect,' which enhances contrast by finely adjusting dark and bright areas. As the components have become smaller, the TV can delicately reproduce deep blacks and bright images.

Inspired by the window frames of grand architectural structures, this design is crafted to appear as if it is floating in the air, making the ultra-large screen a centerpiece of the space and presenting it as a work of art.

With its ultra-slim frame and enhanced audio performance, the TV offers an immersive viewing experience that visually expands the space, much like a massive window.

The 130-inch Micro RGB TV is equipped with Samsung Electronics' latest AI engine, the 'Micro RGB AI Engine Pro.'

The latest AI Engine Pro delivers upgraded features for both picture and sound quality.

With this, 'Micro RGB Color Booster Pro' and 'Micro RGB HDR Pro' utilize AI technology to finely optimize color and contrast for each scene, ensuring vivid colors and exceptional detail in any brightness level.

Additionally, the TV has achieved 100% of the BT2020 color accuracy area, a standard set by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), and has received the 'Micro RGB Precision Color 100' certification from the German testing and certification organization VDE (Verband Deutscher Elektrotechniker).

Moreover, Glare Free technology is applied to minimize light reflection, maintaining consistent color and contrast in various lighting environments and providing the best possible viewing experience.

Support for HDR10+ Advanced and Eclipsa Audio, jointly developed with Google, further enhances immersion in both picture and sound quality.

The 130-inch Micro RGB TV also offers the 'Vision AI Companion,' which interacts with users, understands their needs, and provides services through AI.

Major AI services such as Microsoft Copilot and Perplexity are also supported, enhancing user convenience and utility.

For example, while watching TV, users can issue voice commands such as "Summarize the plot of the movie I'm watching," or "What movies have surpassed 10 million viewers?" and receive optimal answers through AI.
