Since its inception, Genesis has expanded into markets such as Europe and China and broadened its lineup with models like the electrified G80 and the GV60, steadily increasing its annual sales. In May 2021, Genesis exceeded 500,000 cumulative global sales, and just two years later, in August 2023, it reached the 1 million mark.

Annual sales have shown an upward trend, with 215,128 units sold in 2022, 225,189 units in 2023, and 229,532 units in 2024. Last year, sales through November totaled 200,878 units, a 5% decrease from the previous year, but the proportion of overseas sales increased from 43% to 46%.

The best-selling model was the G80, which sold 501,517 units through November this year, becoming the first Genesis model to surpass 500,000 cumulative sales. The GV70 followed with 337,457 units, and the GV80 with 322,214 units. These three models accounted for 77% of Genesis's total sales.

Genesis has set a global annual sales target of 350,000 units by 2030 and plans to introduce a variety of models, including extended-range electric vehicles (EREVs) and hybrids.
