The morning low is forecast to range from -14 to -1 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high from 0 to 8 degrees Celsius.


The morning low in Seoul will be minus 9 degrees Celsius, while Paju in Gyeonggi Province and Cheorwon in Gangwon Province will see temperatures drop to minus 14 degrees Celsius. In most areas, morning temperatures will be around minus 10 degrees Celsius. Strong winds are also expected, making it feel even colder.


The weather will be mostly clear nationwide, but it will gradually become cloudy from the morning, and the Jeolla region and Jeju Island will be mostly cloudy.


In the southern regions, snow or rain that began the previous day is expected to continue.


The expected snowfall over the weekend is 3 to 10 centimeters in the mountainous areas of Jeju Island, 1 to 5 centimeters in Ulleungdo, Dokdo, and mid-mountain areas of Jeju Island, and 1 to 3 centimeters along the west coast of North Jeolla Province and the coastal areas of Jeju Island.


The expected precipitation is 5 to 10 millimeters in Jeju Island and less than 5 millimeters in Ulleungdo and Dokdo. On the west coast of South Chungcheong Province, less than 1 centimeter of snow or about 1 millimeter of rain is expected to fall sporadically between morning and afternoon.


Fine dust concentrations will remain at 'good' to 'normal' levels nationwide.


Waves in the sea will range from 1.0 to 3.5 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 3.0 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the South Sea.
