Gyeongnam Eastern Veterans Affairs Office Holds Commitment Ceremony to Eradicate Improper Solicitations and Workplace Abuse

On January 2, all employees of the Gyeongnam Eastern Veterans Affairs Office pledged to carry out their duties fairly and with integrity, and to take the lead in eradicating workplace abuse.

At the commitment ceremony held that day, they agreed to actively work toward creating a public service culture trusted by the people by prohibiting improper solicitations, the acceptance of money or valuables, and by eradicating workplace abuse.

Kim Sangwoo, Director of the Gyeongnam Eastern Veterans Affairs Office, said, "In 2026, I ask that you continue to serve with pride as veterans affairs officers and maintain a proactive work attitude, so that each and every member of the veterans community can truly feel the impact of our administration." He added, "I will take the lead in ensuring that the core principle of veterans policy-providing special compensation for the special sacrifices made by national heroes and their families-is fully realized in the field."
