11 Liter Secures Pre-Series A Bridge Investment from Korea Technology Finance Corporation and AC Pathfinder Providing 11 liters

11 Liter, a startup led by CEO Kim Gwanghyun and operator of the total pet health management solution 'Lifepet,' has successfully secured a pre-Series A bridge investment from Korea Technology Finance Corporation and AC Pathfinder.

The core competitive edge of 11 Liter lies in its proprietary artificial intelligence (AI) technology, which can determine the presence and progression of degenerative diseases in pets within three seconds using only a smartphone photo. In particular, its patellar luxation diagnostic support software achieved a sensitivity of 97.6% and a specificity of 98.8% in clinical trials, earning approval as Korea’s first animal medical device (Class 3). This research was published in the SCI-level international journal 'Scientific Reports,' establishing credibility both in academia and the industry.

Currently, Lifepet provides analysis services for major conditions such as patellar luxation, periodontal disease, obesity, and cataracts/nuclear sclerosis, with over 170,000 cumulative analyses and more than 80,000 members. Building on this technological sophistication, 11 Liter will make its global debut at 'CES 2026,' the world’s largest IT exhibition held in Las Vegas next January, through the Samsung Electronics C-Lab exhibition hall.

11 Liter is diversifying its business model by modularizing its AI health check function into an API (Application Programming Interface). The company currently supplies its technology to major partners such as smartphone manufacturers, home appliance companies, insurance companies, and telecommunications firms. Notably, 'Lifepet Pet Insurance,' jointly launched with DB Insurance last April, drew attention as Korea’s first case of offering insurance premium discounts based on AI analysis results.

Furthermore, 11 Liter is building a 'pet home care ecosystem' by integrating AI analysis with commerce for over 1,000 types of customized health management products (such as supplements and functional pet food) and pet insurance services for treatment cost coverage. In the first quarter of next year, the company plans to launch a primary skin disease analysis service, further expanding its service scope.

Kim Gwanghyun, CEO of 11 Liter, stated, "This investment recognizes that 11 Liter's AI technology is driving real innovation across the pet industry, including pet insurance and commerce," adding, "With this round, our cumulative investment has surpassed 2 billion won."

He continued, "In 2026, we will aggressively expand our market share by strengthening collaborations with partners across various industries in the global market and set a new standard for pet home care."
