Early 2000s Version Recreated
Various Rewards for Pre-Registration
NCSoft announced on January 2 that it has launched the official website for the "Lineage Classic" brand and has begun pre-registration.
"Lineage Classic" is a PC game that recreates the early 2000s version of "Lineage," which NCSoft has been servicing since 1998. A free pre-service will begin in Korea and Taiwan on February 7, and from February 11, players can enjoy the game through a monthly subscription service priced at 29,700 KRW. Users will be able to pre-download "Lineage Classic" starting February 7.
"Lineage Classic" features four classes (professions): Monarch, Knight, Elf, and Wizard; content from the early version such as Talking Island, Dragon Valley, and Giran region; and an interface familiar to users of the Lineage intellectual property (IP). NCSoft plans to add core content from the existing IP while also introducing new original content and stories that were not previously covered, unique to "Lineage Classic."
NCSoft has also opened the "Lineage Classic" brand website, designed to recreate the nostalgic atmosphere of PC cafes. On the brand website, users can enjoy artwork and videos related to "Lineage Classic." Screenshots and the original soundtrack (OST) of "Lineage Classic" will also be released on February 7. Various content, including the "Hall of Fame" to honor legendary users, will be introduced sequentially.
All users can participate in the pre-registration for "Lineage Classic" until February 10. Participants will receive rewards such as a "Pre-Registration Weapon Selection Box," which allows them to choose between a Silver Sword and a Hunter's Bow, and a "Bone Set" consisting of a Skull Helmet, Bone Shield, and Bone Armor.
