On January 2, Kim Sungsoo, President of SK Broadband (pictured), announced in his New Year’s address that the company has selected strengthening customer trust and driving artificial intelligence (AI) innovation as its core management strategies for 2026.
He stated, "Let us completely redesign all products and processes from the customer’s perspective to restore trust, while firmly establishing a qualitative growth strategy based on return on invested capital (ROIC)."
He went on to unveil plans to practically apply AI to core services and customer touchpoints in order to overcome market limitations.
Kim emphasized the importance of leadership by example, voluntary challenges by employees, and interdepartmental collaboration. In particular, he urged everyone to adhere to the basics by preventing risks such as service disruptions and security incidents at every stage.
In closing, he said, "I will be a CEO who actively engages in the field, listens to voices on the ground, and fully supports the execution of our team members," adding, "Let us achieve the growth we have promised together with the spirit of a red horse leaping off the ground."
