Selected as an Excellent Institution for Proactive Administration for Four Consecutive Years
Comprehensive Certifications in ESG, Labor-Management Relations, and Cultural Sponsorship
The Chungnam Culture and Tourism Foundation was recognized externally for its operational achievements in 2025, receiving nine institutional commendations and certifications from central government ministries and external organizations, as well as 28 individual employee awards.
According to the foundation on January 2, it was selected for the first time as an Excellent Institution for Proactive Administration by Chungcheongnam-do Province for four consecutive years last year, and obtained the Family-Friendly Certification from the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family for the second consecutive time.
Additionally, the foundation received, for the first time, the Excellent Labor-Management Relations Certification and the Human Rights Management System Certification (covering all ESG areas) from the Korea Management Certification Institute, demonstrating achievements in overall organizational operations and ethical management.
In the field of cultural and artistic sponsorship, the foundation earned the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism’s certification as a cultural and artistic sponsorship organization for the first time and was selected as an excellent institution for cultural and artistic sponsorship by the Arts Council Korea.
In the areas of international cultural and artistic exchange and public-private cooperation, the foundation received a commendation from the Ambassador of the Republic of Romania to Korea, a commendation for contributions to cultural and artistic exchange from the Ambassador of Slovakia to Korea, and a plaque of appreciation from the CEO of Hyundai Urban Development in relation to the operation of the Chungnam Creative Studio.
In addition, a total of 28 employees received individual commendations: 15 from external organizations and 13 from the Governor of Chungcheongnam-do Province, recognizing their contributions in various fields such as the development of culture and the arts, international exchange, excellence in comprehensive audits, youth policy, regional festivals, and tourism promotion.
CEO Lee Kijin stated, "These results were made possible by the cooperation of local residents, artists, and regional partners," adding, "In 2026, we will further enhance Chungnam’s competitiveness in culture and tourism by expanding support for culture and the arts, revitalizing tourism, and innovating public services."
