Founded in 1972, Crafter Korea is a third-generation, family-run company specializing in handmade acoustic guitars. With its long history, the company enjoys high brand recognition both domestically and internationally. However, it is currently facing the challenge of an aging workforce in its production sites.
At the meeting, CEO Park Junseok stated, "Most of our manufacturing workers are in their 50s and 60s, so securing young talent is urgently needed for the company's continued growth." He requested support for creating an environment where young people can work long-term and for assistance with recruitment.
In response, Yangju City provided detailed information on youth recruitment policies currently operated by the central government, Gyeonggi Province, and Yangju City, and stated that it would actively consider mid- to long-term support measures at the municipal level.
