Applications Accepted from January 5 to 9
101 Participants to Be Selected for Vulnerable Groups and Youth

Ulju County, Ulsan, will be recruiting participants for the '2026 Phase 1 Public Work Program' from January 5 to January 9.

This public work program is designed to provide temporary jobs to vulnerable groups in the job market, helping to stabilize their livelihoods and contribute to job creation. Ulju County plans to select a total of 101 participants through this program.

Applicants must be residents of Ulju County aged 18 or older as of the project start date, with a household income at or below 60% of the median and assets not exceeding 400 million won. However, as part of youth unemployment measures, applicants aged 39 or younger as of the project start date (born after February 9, 1987) are exempt from the income and asset requirements.

The program will run for about three months, from February 9 to April 30, and will be divided into four areas: informatization projects, service support projects, environmental cleanup projects, and other projects. Participants will be paid 10,320 won per hour, based on this year's living wage standard in Ulju County.

Residents wishing to participate in the public work program should visit their local township or town administrative welfare center to apply. For more details, refer to the announcement on the Ulju County website or the designated bulletin boards in each township or town. Inquiries can be made to the Ulju County Employment Support Division or the township/town administrative welfare centers.

An official from Ulju County stated, "Through the public work program, we will provide a variety of jobs to low-income individuals, long-term unemployed, and young job seekers, and we will ensure that this program offers substantial support for the livelihood stability and job creation for local residents."
