[New Year's Address] SKT CEO Jaeheon Jung: "As the Change Executive Officer, I Will Support the Organization"

On January 2, Jaeheon Jung, CEO of SK Telecom, outlined the direction for change in his New Year's address under the theme of "SK Telecom Running Again." He emphasized that strengthening the core telecommunications business with a customer-centric approach, driving innovation through AI, and company-wide AX (AI Transformation) are the key priorities for this year.

In his 2026 New Year's address, Jung stated, "Our ultimate goal is to ensure the company's perpetual existence and growth, so it can be passed down as a solid foundation for future generations," and presented three directions for change.

First, he identified strengthening the competitiveness of the core telecommunications business as the top priority, saying, "We must put the customer, the essence of our business, at the center and deepen our fundamentals to build a robust MNO (mobile network operator)." Jung emphasized, "When our members feel pride in their hearts, our customers will also be proud to be with SK Telecom."

The second direction he presented was to create a new icon of innovation centered on AI. Jung made it clear that the AI business would be a next-generation growth pillar, stating, "Just as the path SK Telecom has taken has become the history of telecommunications in Korea, we will become the main player in writing a new history on the AI stage."

The third direction for change was AX (AI Transformation). He said, "AX is an essential condition for making our daily lives more valuable and happier," and added, "Let's ensure that everyone achieves their own results through AI, creating a virtuous cycle where the company's growth leads to an improved quality of life for our members."

Regarding organizational culture, he presented "Dream Team" as a core keyword. Jung stressed the importance of a collaborative culture based on listening and humility, saying, "Change is completed when we become a One Team, looking in the same direction and combining our strengths."

Jung also remarked, "All great changes may seem impossible at first, but in the end, they are remembered as brilliant growth," and pledged, "As the Change Executive Officer, I will support our members so they can take on challenges with excitement and confidence."

He concluded by urging employees, "Let go of your fear of change, become each other's strong support, and move forward unwaveringly together."
