PRIZM Successfully Delivers First-Ever Digital Live Global Broadcast of 2025 SBS Entertainment Awards

RXC, led by CEO Yoo Hanik, the operator of the retail media platform PRIZM, announced that it successfully completed the first-ever digital live global broadcast of the '2025 SBS Entertainment Awards with Upbit' (hereafter, 2025 SBS Entertainment Awards), which was held on December 30. PRIZM's exclusive Upbit Popularity Award voting, conducted for fans in Korea and abroad, drew attention by recording a cumulative total of 100,000 votes.

The 2025 SBS Entertainment Awards was a grand festival celebrating SBS variety programs that brought laughter and emotion to viewers over the past year. The event showcased the enduring popularity of long-running shows and the freshness of new formats, once again proving the stature of SBS as a powerhouse in entertainment. PRIZM was in charge of the global digital live broadcast and the popularity award voting, driving the global expansion of K-entertainment, while the leading digital asset exchange Upbit participated as the title sponsor.

PRIZM broadcast both the main ceremony and the red carpet live, generating enthusiastic responses from viewers. In particular, PRIZM exclusively live-streamed the red carpet event together with the SBS digital channel, vividly capturing the excitement before the main ceremony. Leveraging its technological strengths, PRIZM provided ultra-high-definition and ultra-high-quality audio live streams, fully conveying the energy of the event beyond the screen. The platform also offered real-time subtitles in six languages for global fans, earning praise for creating a festival where fans around the world could communicate without language barriers.

The exclusive 'Upbit Popularity Award' voting on the PRIZM app surpassed a cumulative total of 100,000 votes, drawing significant attention. Held over 14 days from December 15 to 28, the voting was divided into two categories: the 'Best Couple UP Award,' recognizing the duo with the best chemistry, and the 'Rookie UP Award,' highlighting rising stars in variety entertainment. After a heated competition among domestic and international fans, the Best Couple UP Award went to Yoo Jaeseok and Yoo Yeonseok, while Lee Chaeyeon was honored with the Rookie UP Award.

PRIZM is a retail media platform established by Yoo Hanik, former chairman of TMON, under RXC. By combining unrivaled technological capabilities with high-sensitivity, high-definition content curation, PRIZM is presenting a new paradigm in the retail market. In particular, it has consistently proven its strength as a global media platform by solidifying its presence in the K-content sector.

In fact, PRIZM recorded a global cumulative audience of 3.8 million during the live broadcast of the 61st Baeksang Arts Awards in May, and drew an overwhelming 22.2 million votes for the popularity award voting within the PRIZM app, garnering widespread attention. In July, as the official digital broadcast partner for the 4th Blue Dragon Series Awards, PRIZM conducted an exclusive global live broadcast, achieving a cumulative audience of 3.25 million. In addition, PRIZM has been repeatedly selected as the official digital broadcast partner for major domestic and international events, further solidifying its position as a global media platform.

Yoo Hanik, CEO of PRIZM, stated, "It is meaningful to be able to deliver the excitement of the '2025 SBS Entertainment Awards' to viewers around the world through PRIZM's unique media capabilities," adding, "We will continue to combine PRIZM's technological strengths with media events to become a leading retail media platform in the global market."
