Launching a Global Education and Research Network
The College of Education at Busan National University (President Choi Jaewon) has signed a memorandum of understanding with the College of Education at Indiana State University (ISU) in the United States to expand international exchanges among faculty, students, and researchers.

This agreement, which was jointly planned and coordinated by the BK21 Research Group for Social Responsibility in Education (Director Kim Jeongseop) and the College of Education (Dean Kim Hoeyong) at Busan National University, marks a significant milestone in international educational cooperation. It is expected to serve as an important opportunity for both universities to establish a global education and research network that will lead the future of education.
Under the agreement, the two institutions will cooperate in various areas, including: ▲ short-term visits and exchange programs for undergraduate and graduate students ▲ faculty and researcher exchanges ▲ joint participation in education and research training programs ▲ development of joint academic research projects. Through these initiatives, they plan to systematically expand international collaborative research on educational issues and foster talent.
Kim Jeongseop, Director of the BK21 Research Group at Busan National University, stated, "This collaboration represents a significant step forward in the internationalization efforts our research group has been pursuing. By strengthening the global education and research network, we expect the international educational ecosystem at the college level to be further enhanced."
Kim Hoeyong, Dean of the College of Education at Busan National University, commented, "Through this agreement, a variety of departments and research groups will be connected with the educational and research programs of overseas universities, broadening the scope of both education and research. We will actively support students and researchers so they can develop their competitiveness and grow in a global environment."
With this agreement as a starting point, the College of Education at Busan National University plans to expand its education and research activities based on international cooperation, strengthen its role as a leading institution in educational research, and foster global educators who can respond to changes in the future educational environment.
