On January 1, Jeonnam Nonghyup pledged a new start for the new year at the summit of Yudalsan Mountain in Mokpo, reflecting on the meaning of "Nongsim Cheonsim" as they watched the sunrise.
They agreed that the significance of the Year of the Red Horse (Byeongo Year) aligns with the direction Jeonnam Nonghyup should pursue. As 2026, the Year of the Red Horse, symbolizes speed, energy, and enterprising spirit by combining the elements of fire and horse, Jeonnam Nonghyup once again resolved not to hesitate in embracing change and to become a cooperative that draws even closer to the realities of agriculture and rural communities.
The "Nongsim Cheonsim" campaign promoted by Jeonnam Nonghyup is an initiative based on the philosophy that "the farmer's heart is the will of heaven." It aims to share the values of agriculture and rural communities with the public and to build a sustainable future for agriculture and rural areas through practical action.
The sunrise pledge on this day also expressed their determination to accelerate implementation and strengthen field-oriented practices based on the values of "Nongsim Cheonsim."
